Respironics EverFlo Q Home Oxygen Concentrator
Seeing how Respironics is one of the leading manufacturers in the oxygen industry, it should be no surprise that they have one of the best home oxygen concentrators on the market. The 5-Liter Respironics EverFloQ has been a favorite among oxygen users for years. It’s lightweight, it is extremely reliable, and it offers quiet operation.
Small and Lightweight Design
At 31 pounds, the Respironics EverFloQ is one of the lightest home oxygen concentrators on the market. It offers flow settings 0-5 LPM and it comes with 4 caster wheels so you can easily maneuver your EverFloQ around your house whenever you need to. So if you brought it out to your living room to watch a movie, you will be able to wheel it back to your room for bed.
Standing 23” H x 15” W x 9.5” D you will have no problems finding a place to put your EverFloQ in any room. Whether your dogs get riled up or your grandkids come over and get a little rambunctious you won’t have to worry about your concentrator getting in the way.
Operating your Respironics EverFloQ is as simple as flipping a switch and turning a knob. Literally, that’s all you have to do!
The EverFloQ is equipped with a 110v power cord allowing you to plug it into any wall outlet in your home. Once it’s plugged in, simply flip the switch on top of your concentrator. Then, turn the knob on the dial to your required flow rate.
If you use a humidifier with your oxygen, the EverFloQ has a built-in humidifier holder. The humidifier holder is a recessed area on the back of the concentrator and it’s equipped with a velcro strap to keep your humidifier bottle securely in place.
When Respironics designed the EverFloQ, they tried to keep required maintenance to a minimum. In fact, you really only have two pieces of required maintenance to keep your EverFloQ in top shape!
The only required maintenance you will need to do is:
- Clean your concentrator
- Replace your filter
Cleaning your concentrator is simple. All you need to do is use a cloth to wipe your concentrator down using warm water and mild soap. Make sure the cloth is damp and not soaking wet. You just want to wipe it down and disinfect it with the soap.
Replacing your filter will take 5 minutes at most and you will only have to do it every year or so. To replace your filter, simply turn your concentrator off, remove the filter cover, take the old filter out of your EverFloQ, and install the new filter. There is a step-by-step guide in your user manual so you can follow along with pictures.
The minimal maintenance paired with its reliability the EverFloQ is an oxygen users dream. And it’s backed by a 5-year warranty with one of the biggest manufacturers in the industry so if anything goes wrong you should be covered. Not to mention, the flow meter and cannula inlet were designed to prevent breakage so you don’t have to worry about unnecessary repairs.
